The peculiarity of our C18 Tier 3, as for all the engines belonging to the C18 ACERT auxiliary engines/generators, is that they incorporate a separate circuit after-cooling system (SCAC) for all configurations.

In this way, thanks to this system, there is less corrosion of the aftercooler through whom seawater is unable to circulate.

It's mandatory to underline that the engine is built to minimize ownership and operating costs. Engines rated to EPA Tier 3, IMO II, EU Stage IIIA standards are available with heat exchanger or keel cooling. All major MCS type approvals are available ex-factory.
