C18 IMO II

The main feature of the C18 ACERT auxiliary engines/generators is that they incorporate a Separate Circuit After-Cooling (SCAC) system for all configurations. This system ensures that there is less corrosion of the aftercooler through which sea water is unable to circulate. Furthermore, the engine was built with a view to minimizing ownership and operating costs. Engines rated to IMO II standards are available with heat exchanger or keel cooling. All major MCS type approvals available ex-factory.
